Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a biotechnology environment.
• Accounting experience in a public company is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and SEC filing compliance is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the month-end close.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements.
• Manage and process payroll for employees.
• Generate monthly invoices for clinical trial site payments.
• Assist with maintaining SOX documentation for standard processes.

Skills

Practical knowledge of accounting operations and strong ethics

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strong organizational skills

Experience using and maintaining Great Plains

Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel

Education

Diploma or degree in Accounting with completed recognized professional accounting program (CPA)
