Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the practice, including managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. They will also play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including cash management, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements: Generate accurate and timely financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collection of outstanding balances.
• Develop and monitor budgets: Create and maintain annual budgets, forecast revenues and expenses, and analyze variances.
• Analyze financial performance: Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain accounting systems: Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of QuickBooks Online and Hubdoc systems and maintain compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Assist with audits: Prepare and review documentation for year-end audits, ensuring accurate and timely completion.

Qualifications:

• Education: A degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with CPA qualification.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks Online.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
