Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Toronto, Ontario. The role includes assisting in accounts payable and receivable operations, ordering office supplies, and preparing reports. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills. Compensation ranges from $24 to $26 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in accounts payable/receivable or administration.
  • Real estate industry experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Controller in processing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Order office supplies and manage office organization.
  • Prepare internal monthly reports as required.

About the Opportunity
  • Assist the Controller in processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Answer main phone line
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Order couriers
  • Scan and organize electronic files as needed
  • Type Letters when requested
  • Receive, distribute and help process invoices
  • Enter approved invoices in to accounting software
  • Deposit rent cheques into bank
  • Prepare internal monthly reports as required
  • Organize and order office supplies and toiletries as needed
  • Work with IT provider, phone company, benefits provider, security company, copier
About You
  • Minimum of 2 year of relevant AP/AR/Admin experience
  • Basic excel skills and ERP experience
  • Very good to excellent communication skills and personable
  • Real estate industry experience is an asset
Pay Range

$24 - $26 / hour
