Location : Edmonton, AB

Job Type : Full-time, In-Office

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000K + Benefits

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join the finance team of a well-established architecture and design firm. This position provides the opportunity to contribute to the firm's financial operations while supporting a collaborative and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice processing and reconciliations
  • Prepare and issue monthly project billings with accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage corporate credit card expenses, processing and reconciling accounts as required
  • Assist with employee timesheet processing
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and assist with the preparation of journal entries
  • Support the preparation and submission of government remittances and reporting
  • Assist with accounts receivable collections and client follow-up
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or project-based environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with financial / accounting software systems
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
