Job Type: Temporary (Fixed Term)

The 12-month temporary position of Supply Chain and Operations Accounting Analyst contributes to the preparation of monthly financial reports and the calculation of cost of goods sold. This role also supports the plant controller in managing operations.

  • Salary range 004: 71 200$ to 89 000$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What this role entails:
  • Prepare documents for the analysis of monthly financial results (labor, manufacturing overhead, month‑end inventory, raw materials, yields).

  • Participate in the development of plant budgets and cost calculations and analyze variances.

  • Ensure the update and compliance of the plant’s performance indicators.

  • Support various plant departments with financial requests (economic project analysis, monthly reports).

  • Perform month‑end journal entries.

  • Assist the controller in operations, including presenting financial results to the plant manager.

  • Participate in improvement projects and work on automating, optimizing, and harmonizing the tools used.

What you need to join our team:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, combined with a recognized accounting designation (CPA), required.

  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector and/or in cost accounting.

  • Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written, required.

  • Recognized accounting designation (CPA).

  • Experience with an ERP system (an asset).

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (various functions, pivot tables, Power Query – an asset) and Oracle.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong autonomy and adaptability.
