Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to hire Accounting Experts who will evaluate and compare AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy and adherence to GAAP/IFRS. You will read model reasoning to inform judgments and clearly explain why one output outperforms another with focus on standards compliance and quality of reasoning.

The role is part-time with a flexible workload of 10–20 hours per week, starting immediately and with rolling applications.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional experience in accounting, audit, or tax.
• CPA certification or accounting degree in accounting/finance.
• Fluent in GAAP and IFRS and financial-statement analysis.
• Strong written communication with high attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and compare two AI-generated responses to the same accounting prompt.
• Read model reasoning inputs to inform your judgment.
• Explain why outputs are better, citing standards and quality of reasoning.
• Provide written feedback to the research team to improve model behavior.
