About the role

The Accounting Administrator plays a crucial role in managing a company’s financial operations. As the Accounting Administrator you will serve on the Finance team managing financial records managing end-to-end accounts payable and receivable process reconciliations and preparing financial statements.

Ottawa Ontario Canada (Remote)

What you’ll be doing
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • Maintain accurate and current financial records at all times.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivables process invoices and manage payments.
  • Manage purchase order matching receiving and reconciliation
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Set up and maintain vendor profiles
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Assist with tax filings
  • Provide support throughout audits
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and expenditures
  • Provide financial analysis and forecasting support
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities including accruals and reporting
  • Collaborate with procurement sales and finance teams to resolve invoice and purchase order issues
  • Embrace and support Computacenters mission and core values.
What you have
  • Minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting finance or equivalent job-related experience is required.
  • 4 years of proven work experience in accounting or similar role
  • Proficiency with accounting software MS Excel and financial modeling
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to establish a rapport and build professional relationships among all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent employee customer service skills including being proactive and responsive with diligent task follow through skills.
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and is extremely organized and process driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Word Excel Outlook)
  • Solid time management skills a can-do attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
