Accountant – Term Position (13 Months)

Location : Kia Halifax

Looking for a role where you can put your accounting skills to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment? We’re excited to welcome a detail-oriented Accountant to our Kia Halifax team. This is a 13-month term opportunity with plenty of variety, collaboration, and the chance to make an impact at one of Atlantic Canada’s most respected automotive groups. What you’ll do :
  • Prepare daily cash / bank deposits
  • Assist with the processing vehicle sales
  • Help maintain and update inventory ledgers
  • Process Accounts payable transactions - post invoices, reconcile statements, prepare cheques
  • Process accounts receivable transactions - process payments and apply to the appropriate
  • Assist with the processing of intercompany accounts and transactions
  • Provide accounting support to the other dealerships when required
  • Assist with other additional accounting / administrative tasks as needed
Who you are :
  • 3-5 years if accounting or bookkeeping experience is required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
