Job Description

Become an integral part of our finance team as an Accountant and contribute to our company’s success. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will work in collaboration with the finance team to support various accounting functions and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Finally, you align yourself with organizational objectives while taking your individual needs into account, living ISAAC’s values in your daily interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accounting records up to date, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
  • Review and reconcile accounts, identifying discrepancies and correcting them
  • Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial information
  • Participate in the preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow), while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Participate in external financial audits
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Canadian and U.S. tax returns
  • Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial advice and support
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting, and hold a CPA designation
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual (French and English / reason: bilingual clients).
Assets
  • Experience with high growth SaaS companies
  • Experience using Salesforce and Oracle Netsuite
  • Experience with Canadian and US tax returns.
