Job Description

Our client, located in the heart of downtown, is looking for a full-time Junior Accountant to join their growing dynamic team. Reporting into the Senior Accountant, the Junior Accountant will oversee all duties for Accounts Receivable functions. As the Junior Accountant, you will be assisting in month-end tasks, cash flow preparations, HST calculations and account reconciliations. The Junior Account duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Implementing process improvements and drive automation
  • Full Cycle Accounts Receivable
  • Fixed assets
  • Journal Entries
  • Investigation and reconciliation of key Asset and Liability accounts
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Prior experience working in an accounting role, preferably Accounts Receivable
  • Industry experience is considered an asset
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferable SAP, and Microsoft Office
