About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll manage a defined territory and portfolio of accounts, uncover client needs, develop tailored print and marketing solutions, and foster long-term relationships. You will be responsible for driving new business while expanding and serving an existing client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a territory and assigned accounts while consistently meeting quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Identify new opportunities and grow existing business through consultative solution-based selling.
- Leverage your print industry knowledge to recommend the right production methods, materials, and services.
- Conduct daily outbound prospecting to book discovery meetings, assessments, presentations, and proposals.
- Present customized solutions virtually or in person that align with client branding, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain exceptional customer service through regular communication, follow-ups, and proactive support.
- Build and strengthen relationships with decision-makers across your portfolio.
- Prepare accurate forecasts, weekly sales reports, and periodic business reviews for leadership.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (design, production, installation, and project management) to ensure successful execution of projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of B2B print sales experience (commercial print, wide-format, signage, or related print manufacturing).
- Proven track record selling complex or custom solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of print production, substrates, finishing, and workflow timelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the confidence to aggressively pursue new business.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills and a high degree of independence.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Preferred Assets
- Experience in agency, marketing, or promotional product sales.
- Familiarity with quoting software or print MIS systems.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
