Role Overview

We’re looking for an Account Manager to lead account management and client‑facing initiatives in North America. The role focuses on developing existing book of business through upsell and cross‑sell opportunities while driving revenue growth and net new recurring revenue.

Account Managers will own renewal revenue streams, pursue upsell opportunities, and serve as the primary point of contact for a named list of accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Secure 100% client retention through successful renewals.
  • Increase revenues through upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Act as the primary contact for key decision‑makers in a named book of business.
  • Drive renewals and retention, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long‑term success.
  • Lead upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, managing the full sell cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiations and signature.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer support.
  • Monitor key account health indicators to mitigate risks and prevent churn.
  • Maintain accurate account activity records in CRM and report on customer insights.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 4+ years of professional experience in account management, partnerships, or consulting.
  • Experience in a high‑growth B2B technology company.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Track record of hitting and achieving quota.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to develop an effective and actionable account business strategy.
  • Familiarity with sales protocols and SaaS processes, including use of CRMs, Slack, and cross‑team collaboration.
  • Comfort working with technical teams and navigating a global company.
  • Empathetic, humble, trustworthy, with strong analytical and planning capabilities.
  • Detail‑oriented, flexible, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple evolving topics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a multicultural and international environment.
  • Language: English. (Additional language skills are a plus.)
  • Must possess an employment status that allows work from the Montreal office.
Bonus Skills / Experience
  • Experience working at a SaaS company.
  • Technical fluency on cloud architecture, API and integration, IT project delivery.
  • Insurance industry experience.
