This position is with our Consumer Brands business unit – where we empower our employees to bring the best Laundry & Home Care and Hair products to people around the world.

What you’ll do
  • Responsible for the growth and development of the Salon business for HCB‑HP brands in an assigned territory.
  • Adhere to the overall HBC‑HP brand strategies for purposeful growth.
  • Maintain relationships with accounts by actively calling on them via a scheduled route plan.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets, including quantitative and qualitative targets and benchmarks.
  • Manage existing salon customers and find new customer acquisitions within a set territory.
  • Promote and sell‑in of new product innovations, bi‑monthly promotions, and educational offers.
  • Execute customer agreements and loyalty programs.
  • Take stock & order, upsell, and increase share of wallet.
  • Work with Education Manager to develop education plans to support territory plan.
  • Sell education events: shows and hands‑on cutting, colouring, and styling classes.
  • Actively prospect for new business as agreed upon with RSM.
  • Sell products & services according to commercial conditions and consider each brand positioning.
  • Attend and support all related customer needs to assure successful development of all brands.
  • Supplement customer sales calls with the use of Salonory (eB2B) to increase overall sales.
  • Adhere to a daily sales route plan focused 8 customer calls per day and 2 NCA calls.
  • Use required applications on eESF daily.
  • Set up customer data and account maintenance.
  • Conduct quarterly sale performance review meetings with salon customers.
  • Detail monthly with Regional Education Manager.
  • Attend bi‑monthly sales meeting in office and monthly virtual sales connects.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in calling on accounts and following a route plan (Territory Québec).
  • Strong communication skills (presentation and written).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other functional groups such as Marketing and Education.
  • Proficient in relevant technologies, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
  • Valid driver’s license.
