About the role

Reporting into the Sales Director, this B2B role involves managing merchant relationships and working directly with business owners, finance managers, and sales agents across Eastern Canada who wish to use our consumer financing platform. To be successful in this role, you will need to be motivated, organized, detail-oriented and focused on customer service above all else. You are an enthusiastic, team player with a positive attitude, and are regarded as a strong and personable communicator. You are comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, while holding yourself accountable for results.

*Candidates must reside in the Maritime Provinces to support local operations.*

What you’ll do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our business partners, helping them succeed with Financeit.
  • Use your product expertise and consultative approach to drive partner engagement and sales growth.
  • Coach and support partners on Financeit’s program, tools, and best practices.
  • Train businesses on how to position financing and offer flexible monthly payments to their customers.
  • Lead regular training and coaching sessions with small and mid-sized businesses to help them level up.
  • Make sure new employees at partner locations are fully trained and confident using the Financeit platform.
  • Ensure all activity meets our approval and risk standards.
  • Grow volume with existing partners while ramping up new ones to achieve consistent results.
  • Collaborate closely with our Merchant Approval, Activation, and Engagement teams to create a smooth partner experience.
  • Travel as needed to visit dealers, attend tradeshows, offsites, and other events.
  • BA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with hands‑on direct sales and relationship management.
  • 1+ years of experience in consumer lending, financial services or banking is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing successful business‑to‑business sales and service relationships in an asset.
  • You know your way around a CRM, ideally Salesforce.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Must be located in Eastern Canada.
  • Travel is required.
