Our North American market-leading client is looking for their next Account Manager (Outside Sales) in the GTA. In this position, you will manage their client base and grow their market share in the GTA.

Responsibilities
  • Actively seek new customers in the territory that will enable the company to secure profitable business while maintaining and developing relationships with current customers.
  • Attain revenue targets per Business Plan
  • Promote and sell products and services to existing customers.
  • Prepare estimates and quote pricing, credit terms, warranties and delivery dates.
  • Participate in training sessions, trade shows and sales meetings as required.
  • Create and execute an AMP (Account Management Program) that ensures appropriate sales coverage of all assigned accounts.
  • Create and execute a CSP (Core Supplier Plan) to increase core supplier product sales through account targeting and co-operative activities.
Qualifications
  • Related diploma / degree in a technical field or business discipline.
  • Relevant sales or industry experience is considered an asset. (electrical, wire, cable, lighting, data communication, automation)
  • Open to B2B experience or other technical industrial sales.
  • Must have a passion for sales and a "hunter" mentality when driving new business.
  • Knowledge of the wholesale industry is considered an asset.
  • Exhibits excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Skilled at assessing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering solutions.
  • Knowledge of wholesale / distribution sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
