We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our team in the Dartmouth location as an Account Manager. Our ideal candidate will be someone who drives for results, has a history of uncovering new business opportunities, but also provides outstanding customer service. This person will have a passion for providing solution-based selling and creating a value-added relationship with their customers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain regular contact with touch customers via email and telephone.
  • Visit with key customers as required.
  • Maintain customer contracts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals with your assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for generating demand for Rexel products and identifying business opportunities with your customer base.
  • Work closely with other members of the team to ensure you are engaged in the entire sales process.
  • Support the Projects and Quotation teams as needed.
  • Share and leverage talents and provide information to improve sales strategies and execution.
  • Strive to achieve long-term relationships with customers by ‘value-add’ selling techniques.
  • Provide accurate technical data and advice to customers.
Qualifications
  • College diploma (or equivalent.)
  • Proven client service and preferably 4 – 5 years of commercial and industrial sales experience.
  • You have a proven ability to communicate effectively and build/maintain effective relationships.
  • A track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Computer literate in a Windows environment.
