Job description
About Common Wealth

Common Wealth is Canada’s fastest-growing group retirement provider. Our award-winning digital platform helps Canadians plan, save, and build secure retirement income. We partner with a nationwide network of advisors and employers and are expanding our presence in Western Canada.

We collaborate closely with a fast-growing network of advisors and serve employers nationwide. To support our rapid expansion in Western Canada, we are looking for an Account Executive (Remote) based in Vancouver to help grow our advisor network and lead full‑cycle sales opportunities with employers.

About the Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career (typically 2–4+ years) who wants accelerated responsibility, a steep learning curve, and meaningful earning potential as part of a high‑growth startup environment.

You’ll join a small, high-performing regional pod, where you’ll get strong support, and hands‑on coaching, but also real ownership from day one. If you thrive in environments where you can build, experiment, and see your impact directly in business growth, you’ll love this role.

What You’ll Do
Advisor Relationship Management (Primary Focus)
  • Build and maintain a strong portfolio of advisor partners across BC.
  • Understand advisor business models and help them grow their group retirement business.
  • Deliver clear, compelling pitches and materials advisors can use with their employer clients.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to help advisors generate and advance opportunities.
  • Stay consistently visible to advisors through outreach, meetings, events, and follow‑ups.

Your goal: make advisors successful so they bring more opportunities to Common Wealth.

Advisor‑Led Employer Sales Support
  • Join advisor‑led meetings to demo the platform and advance deals.
  • Support proposals, paperwork, and contracting to move opportunities efficiently.
  • Handle objections and clearly articulate Common Wealth’s value.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and strong employer experience.

You’ll operate as a trusted sales partner to advisors, combining education, consultative selling, and deal execution.

Who You Are
  • Ambitious and proactive – eager to grow quickly and take on responsibility.
  • Consultative and curious – strong at discovery, listening, and adapting to client needs.
  • Confident presenter – comfortable engaging advisors, business owners, and HR leaders.
  • Entrepreneurial – thrives in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
  • Coachable – seeks feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative – works well within integrated sales and client‑facing teams.
