JOB POSITION - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As an Account Executive, you will be selling Transportation and Logistics Services to small, medium and large sized businesses across all verticals. You will be responsible for identifying prospective accounts, building relationships, and closing. This role is primarily new business development with minimal warm leads supplied.The position includes a $65-75K base salary, commission, full benefits, perks, and the ability to earn $100,000+ in the first year with residual commissions rolling.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
• $65,000 to $75,000 Base Salary, plus commission
• OTE in the first year is $100k+

The company was founded in 2019 with a staff of 15, is family owned, and currently growing by 15-20%

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:
• Head Office - East York, Toronto, Ontario
• Working from the office full time
• Full-time - Monday to Friday


EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 - 5 years of sales experience selling logistics services


TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Excel - Basic
• PowerPoint - Basic
• MS Word - Basic

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION
• 3PL Logistics Solutions

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION MAKER(S):
• Director of Transportation


SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE
• Average revenue by customer $5,000,000 +
• Average length of sales cycle 1 - 6 months


COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES:

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES:
• 70% New Business Development
• 20% Account Management
• 10% Administrative Duties

LEADS:
• 75% Prospecting/Cold Calling
• 25% following up on warm Leads

OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
• Less than 10%


SUPPORT & TRAINING:
• Job Shadowing
• Mentoring
• Classroom
• 3 - 4 weeks of sales training
• 1 - 2 months of technical training
• Within 3 - 4 weeks you will be selling to clients
