Roche is seeking an Account Executive to promote and drive the sales cycle for diagnostic products within hospital laboratories, independent reference labs, and defined medical research centers. You will align with the National Business Leader to execute growth and retention plans across your accounts.

As the technical product expert at the lab level, you will build trusted relationships within the hospital lab network and leverage regional resources to deliver value and drive expansion.

Qualifications

  • Degree requirements include a bachelor’s in a related field or a technical diploma with several years of sales experience.
  • Demonstrated mastery of two‑way communication and active listening with customers.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to translate clinical value to stakeholders.

  • Cobuild an excellent customer experience within hospital lab networks alongside the Support Lead.
  • Regularly check in with senior laboratory stakeholders to align on priorities and value delivery.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of product portfolio and lab environments.
  • Manage sales pipeline in CRM and ensure data integrity for accounts and opportunities.
  • Use Miller Heiman and Challenger selling models to guide strategic opportunities.

As a Account Executive you will be responsible for promoting and driving the sales cycle of (Diagnostic sub specialty) products within hospital-based laboratories, independent reference laboratories and defined medical research centers. You will work closely with your National Business Leader to execute on growth and retention plans across your assigned customer base as well as collaborate with your local Provincial Healthcare Leader and Customer Lead (s) to focus on specific regional trends. You are the technical product expert at the laboratory level and you use this knowledge to build trusting and credible relationships within the hospital lab network.

The Opportunity
  • Collaborate with the regional squad to execute on customer related goals (growth, retention, experience, etc)
  • Leverage your understanding of the customer, your regional squad and our internal network to provide the right support to your account(s) at the right time
  • Co-own the stellar customer experience in the hospital lab network (Lab Staff, IT, Clinicians) with the Support Lead
  • Conducts regular check-INs with the senior laboratory stakeholders and clinicians to better understand the labs' priorities and challenges and how Roche can support them and provide value
  • Maintain a deep technical knowledge of your product portfolio and a profound interest and understanding of your customer’s working environment and personal and professional objectives. You will use this knowledge to bring true value and enable us to become the Partner of Choice
  • Maintain and grow a healthy sales opportunity funnel in REXIS. Focus and priority should be given to segmented target accounts and opportunities. You are responsible for customer and opportunity data integrity (accuracy and completeness)
  • Use Miller Heiman for strategic planning of your sales opportunities and the Challenger selling model to help customers navigate alternatives
Who you are
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant sales experience OR a Technical Diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Exhibits true expertise in the products and services you sell , comfortably exceeding the knowledge that any expert buying influencer might have
  • Mastery of two-way communication; communicates, actively listening, using silence to elicit more information and clearly conveying ideas once the customer understands their problem
  • Ability to assimilate and master scientific and clinical information
  • Passionate and empathetic about our customer and patients and their environment
  • Demonstrated financial and business acumen
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as required to manage assigned territory and to attend regional/national meetings

Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec votre responsable national des activités pour mettre en œuvre les plans de croissance et de fidélisation auprès du portefeuille de clients qui vous est confié ; vous collaborerez également avec votre responsable provincial du secteur de la santé et vos responsables de la relation client pour vous concentrer sur des tendances régionales spécifiques. Vous êtes l'expert technique des produits au niveau du laboratoire et vous utilisez ces connaissances pour établir des relations de confiance et crédibles au sein du réseau de laboratoires hospitaliers.

  • Effectuer des vérifications régulières avec les principaux intervenants du laboratoire et les cliniciens pour mieux comprendre les priorités et les défis des laboratoires et comment Roche peut les soutenir et leur apporter de la valeur
  • Maintenir une connaissance technique approfondie de votre portefeuille de produits et un intérêt et une compréhension profonds de l'environnement de travail de vos clients et des objectifs personnels et professionnels. Vous utiliserez ces connaissances pour apporter une valeur réelle et nous permettre de devenir le partenaire de choix
  • Entretenez et développez un pipeline d'opportunités de vente sain dans REXIS. La priorité doit être accordée aux comptes cibles et aux opportunités segmentés. Vous êtes responsable de l'intégrité des données client et opportunité (exactitude et exhaustivité)
  • Utiliser Miller Heiman pour la planification stratégique de vos opportunités de vente et le modèle de vente Challenger pour aider les clients à trouver des alternatives
Qui vous êtes
  • Baccalauréat dans un domaine connexe avec 5 ans ou plus d'expérience pertinente en vente, OU un diplôme d'études techniques avec 7+ ans ou plus d'expérience pertinente.
  • Démontre une véritable expertise dans les produits et services que vous vendez, dépassant confortablement les connaissances que tout influenceur acheteur expert pourrait avoir

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Eastern Canada is 103,120.00 and 135,345.00 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
