Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. The role focuses on promoting and selling the company’s comprehensive Payroll and Workforce Management solutions through a consultative sales approach conducting needs assessments, delivering tailored demonstrations, and presenting customized solutions.

This role necessitates strong communication and negotiation skills, a solid understanding of the payroll industry, a proven record of exceeding sales targets, and a strategic focus on business development, client relationship management, partner development and market expansion.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 3–5+ years of success in outside B2B sales, ideally in Payroll, HRMS, or Workforce ManagementPoorateheslots upr.
  • Fluency in both official languages (French/English), with the ability to communicate effectively to produce succinct explanation and correspondence in both languages.
  • A strong record of hitting or surpass Crimson sales targets and KPIs, especially those tied to revenue, conversion, and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative, client-first mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage your pipeline independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Comfort and confidence working with CRM systems to track sales activities and maintain seamless client communication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, implementation, and customer service, to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the payroll industry.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and promote our brand and solutions.

The Account Executive has the option to work fully from the Payworks office in Montreal or on a hybrid work model, working in the office at least three (3) days a week.
