Overview

Are you passionate about design? Do you want to launch a challenging and rewarding career in the design industry? We have a career opportunity as an Account Executive, based out of our Edmonton showroom. This full-time role leverages your design and/or lighting background to work with Edmonton design professionals, helping them light residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

As a natural people-person, you will develop and maintain strong working relationships with interior designers, architects, electrical engineers, homebuilders, and homeowners, helping them create lighting plans and source lighting to realize their vision for a space. Your goal will be to become their trusted lighting advisor.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver memorable sales presentations and develop business by connecting with design professionals.
  • Collaborate with LightForms internal support staff to prepare estimates, negotiate quotes, and maintain client relationships to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Travel around the city to meet key decision makers and support ongoing projects.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in a competitive sales environment.
  • Experience in the commercial and decorative lighting industry with emphasis on sales to the architecture and design community.
  • Ability to read design and lighting drawings.
  • Impeccable communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to deliver compelling and memorable product presentations.
  • Self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of independence.
  • Willingness to be outside of the office on sales calls approximately 90% of the time.
  • Vehicle required.
  • Design or Business Degree (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
