A leading telecommunications company is seeking an Account Development Representative in Vaughan, Canada. This role focuses on client retention and identifying opportunities for expanding services. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in inside sales or account management, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in CRM tools. Our client is a successful Canadian owned operator that has been providing businesses in Canada with carrier‑grade wireless broadband, voice and data communications services since 2001. As a national broadband service provider we own and manage our wireless IP network in 46 major markets across Canada, serving more than 6,200 customer locations.
Reporting to a Regional Sales Manager and working closely with a team of Account Executives, the person in this newly created role will be responsible for reaching out and connecting with our client base on a regular basis. They will have a dual focus of supporting retention and identifying and qualifying opportunities to expand existing capacity or add new services to address new or changing business requirements. Once the rep's have engaged the right contacts at a client to be able to articulate the opportunity they pass it on to the Account Executive of record on the account who is responsible for any proposals, contract negotiations and implementation support required by the sales team. This individual will be responsible for meeting formal revenue increase and retention targets.
