International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party claims administration team that provides claims services for Lloyd's, self-insured entities, and organizations with high deductibles.

Working within a team environment, the Account Coordinator will be responsible for the account management relating to assigned key Insurer clients.

Salary range for this position is: $49,000 to $68,000 annually.

We are currently looking to fill this position in either our Toronto, New Westminster, or Montreal office. This is a Hybrid position.

Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare financial reports, measuring against client (contractual) expectations and ensure smooth delivery to clients each month.
  • Manage and maintain accounts funded in trust on clients behalf.
  • Reconciliation of financial transactions across various client management systems
  • Oversee internal file protocol reviews in conjunction with IPG procedures.
  • Continuously work to enhance relationships with Insurer clients
  • Communicate with client re: trust account balances and adequacies
  • Works with Finance to ensure smooth cheque issuance workflow
  • Works with Examiners to facilitate payment cash calls and scheme advances
  • Facilitate data for production of MI reports
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2-5 years’ experience in senior admin role multi-tasking and working with external clients
  • Knowledge and experience in Insurer and Lloyd’s practices
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of third-party vendor systems used by Insurers
  • Excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external associates either verbally or in writing.
  • Teamwork – must genuinely intend to work cooperatively with others
  • Initiative – being proactive in suggesting solutions to internal or external associates to improve process.
  • Technical Experience – the ability to provide direction and review to assure that files meet client KPI standards
  • Problem Solving – the ability to look at situations, analyze data, workflows and barriers to creatively provide solutions that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
