Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Account Coordinator to support account managers with pricing, order entry, and invoicing accuracy. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service and develop relationships with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include quote initiation, detailed order entry, and contributing to annual reviews and sustainability reports while maintaining organized and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College diploma or University degree in a related program; 2 years of sales or customer service experience required.
• Must have very strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Must be a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced exciting team environment.
• Must work well under pressure and be able to prioritize and multitask.

• Actively work with account managers to develop new business and create growth with Univar’s current customer base.
• Be a point of contact for the customers to ensure requests are reviewed efficiently.
• Work with internal staff to ensure Univar delivers exceptional customer service.
• Initiate price quote requests as needed by customers and account managers.
• Provide the Purchasing team with detailed order entry for accurate Purchase order completion.
• Work with vendors and internal team members to organize the gathering and delivery of material from customers.
• Work with operations to monitor waste inventory and organize shipments to approved vendors.
• Create new customer and vendor accounts in SAP
• Develop working relationships with customer contacts and vendors for smooth and efficient interactions.
• Monitor and ensure accurate invoicing from vendors as well as to customers.
• Assist the account managers with the customers’ Annual Reviews and Sustainability Reports.
• Other duties as required.

About the position

• Must have very strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook, Work, and PowerPoint)
• SAP experience is an asset
• Must be a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced exciting team environment
