Applications are invited for the position of Academic Office Administrator in the School of Media, located at the Welland Campus. The starting hourly rate is $32.10/hr (Pay Band F - $32.10/hr to $37.04/hr) for a 35 hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary. This is an Appendix D, temporary position as per Article 17.3.1 of the Support Staff Collective Agreement and is set to commence in September 2026 and will conclude in December 2026. It may be subject to an extension by mutual agreement of the parties.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Media, this exciting role will provide academic administrative support to the Associate Dean, ensuring smooth daily operations of the school as well as planning for future semester requirements. This role is the first point of contact for staff, students, other college departments and members of the public seeking to engage with the school.
The Academic Office Administrator is a key role in the success of the operation. This position requires a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while performing duties, the ability to work independently, and exercise initiative and empathy while interacting with college staff, students, and the public.
