St. Michael’s Hospital in downtown Toronto seeks a qualified full-time academic interventional cardiologist. Rank can be Lecturer to Full Professor, with clinical educator tracks and research/quality roles. Start date in the second half of 2026.

The successful candidate will hold an MD, be eligible for RCPSC Cardiology certification and CPSO licensure, and participate in education at St. Michael’s and the University of Toronto, while leading clinical research and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• MD degree and Cardiology certification by RCPSC and CPSO licensure.
• Experience in interventional cardiology; CTO/CHIP expertise preferred.
• Academic track record in education or quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 24/7 Primary Angioplasty/Code STEMI service.
• Lead or collaborate in clinical research and quality improvement programs.
• Engage in inpatient and outpatient clinical activities and teaching.
• Support outpatient demands and inpatient consultations.
