Home to over 40 departments and institutes, the University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine lies at the heart of the Toronto Academic Health Science Network and is a global leader in ground‑breaking research and education, spanning clinical medicine, basic science and the rehabilitation sciences sectors.
Under the general direction of the Director, Academic Human Resources, the Academic HR and Data Project Coordinator will provide support for the day‑to‑day activities of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine (TFoM) Academic HR Office. The incumbent is responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving a number of internal human resources processes and systems required in the management of academic human resources. They will also act as the point person for various HR systems, maintain/update various departmental HR documents, processes, and databases, and oversee the coordination of academic HR processes. The incumbent will assist in preparing statistical information and analyses in relation to academic human resources.
The incumbent manages and supports a wide‑range of high‑level and confidential activities related to operations, planning, projects and initiatives within the Dean’s Office. The broad scope of this position is driven by the range of responsibilities, initiatives and projects undertaken by the Academic HR Office. The incumbent will provide basic advice, timely and accurate information on academic human resources related issues in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, knowing that more complex/problematic matters must be referred to the Director for resolution.
