A leading educational institution in Woodstock seeks a Student Support Advisor to guide students through their academic journey and enhance retention initiatives. The ideal candidate has a diploma in a relevant field and at least 3 years of student guidance experience. Key responsibilities include providing academic support, developing educational programs, and participating in campus activities. This is a full-time position with various responsibilities and a focus on student success.

Hours : Monday to Friday 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. with some evenings and weekends as operationally required.
Reporting to the Associate Dean the incumbent is the first point of contact for student inquiries and issues and uses sound judgment and past practices to refer students to the appropriate support or resolution. The incumbent provides guidance to students throughout their academic journey; actively participates in retention and student success initiatives; and completes a wide variety of administrative data-tracking and reporting duties in support of student success and academic activities of the campus. The incumbent supports planning development delivery and renewal of education and training across the school through market development community integration curriculum support and related activities.
Participates in a variety of campus-wide and College-wide initiatives committees and events such as surveys orientations and related activities graduation ceremonies open house events etc.
