Job summary

The SAAAC Autism Centre in Toronto is seeking a Supervised Instructor Therapist to support children with autism through ABA-based teaching and data-driven programming. You will work under the guidance of a BCBA Clinical Supervisor, delivering centre-based or home-based ABA services to multiple clients.

Responsibilities include assessments, data collection, progress reporting, and collaborating with families.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience delivering ABA services.
Understanding of autism and applied behaviour analysis (ABA).
Experience with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism.
Available to work evenings, weekends, center-based.
Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Reliable transportation.
Team player with ability to work independently.
Proficient with MS Office.
Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
Valid liability insurance.

Responsibilities

Work with multiple clients (ages 2–18) under supervision of a RBA and Supervised Senior Therapist.
Provide centre-based or home-based ABA services 1:1.
Assist the RBA with in-person assessments.
Complete assessments needed for client programming.
Use ABA strategies and adhere to program write-up.
Collect data and analyze progress; graph results.
Prepare reports or session notes.
Maintain safe, organized teaching environments and materials.
Attend meetings with families.
Provide parent training opportunities as stated in client service contracts.
Maintain regular communications with parents and family.
