Job summary

Tile Town is seeking a delivery driver to perform route-based product deliveries across multiple locations. You will load, unload, and record delivery details while maintaining safety and vehicle cleanliness.

The role requires handling up to 60 lbs, operating a 5-ton truck, and adhering to safety and environmental policies. Expected hours align with a 40-hour week, with potential for higher weekly hours during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products along established routes.

Job Description

The primary role of the job would be focused around the delivery of products over established routes. Responsibilitiesinclude:

• correct loading and unloading of the vehicle,
• recording of delivery information,
• ensuring overall vehicle safety.

The Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.

• Ability to drive a 5ton truck
• You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment, lifting 60 lbs.
• Abilityto move heavy pallets with Tile.
• Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules and by taking an active approach to accident prevention and environmental protection.
• Load, unload delivery truck in a timely manner to our locations.
• Complete packing slips, waybills, trip sheets and bills of lading
• Maintain a clean organized delivery truck
• Be able to organize and load a skid for delivery
• Warehouse work, building skids for shipping

Compensation for this position will be based on skills, abilities and relevant knowledge or experience.

Store operating hours

• Monday - Friday– 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

In almost all cases, working hours will fall within our distribution operating hours.Thisrole is based on a forty (40) hour work week. The role is an hourly job with an average of 60-70 hours per week.
