Job summary
A leading educational institution is seeking a Power Engineer to support the safe operation of its central heating plant and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC systems and supporting plant operations. Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years at the journeyperson/technician level, preferably in an institutional environment.
- Familiarity with DDC and pneumatic controls.
- Experience with institutional HVAC systems and central heating plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and energy systems.
- Support plant operations and contribute to preventative maintenance programs.
- Assist with emergent situations across the university when necessary.

Initiative and varied trade skills in diagnosing and repairing
Interpreting technical documentation
Proficiency with computerized maintenance and MS Office tools
