Overview

We are looking to hire a Mine Engineering Co‑Op Student to support our team at the Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON and Timmins West Mine in Timmins, ON on a contract basis. The schedule is 4×3, 10 hrs/day. The placement will run from May 2026 to August 2027. This role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp‑based position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the planning, ventilation and surveying personnel in their day‑to‑day activities.
  • Work both on surface and in underground environments.
  • Data entry, filing, and excellent computer skills will be required.
  • You will be required to work with Deswik, Ventsim, and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a mineral/mining engineering program (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year).
  • Access to a vehicle or ability to arrange car‑pooling (public transportation is not available).
  • Highly resourceful team player with excellent communication, attention to detail, and time‑management skills.
  • Problem‑solver who actively seeks opportunities and proposes innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and proactivity.
