Job Description

ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is growing and are hiring for 3rd Cook Food Prep workers for a remote lodge near White River, ON. 3rd Cooks are responsible for the preparation of sandwiches, salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, nuts, dairy and starches. Successful candidates should have some experience in remote camps or commercial industries.

The Food Prep Worker prepares, and portions food items and performs various duties in accordance with production requirements and Aramark sanitation standards. Uses daily worksheets and standardized recipes to cook meals.

  • Comprehensive benefit packages are offered.
  • Transportation is provided out of Thunder Bay, ON
  • Rotation can vary from
    • 3 weeks on/1 week off
    • 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
    • 20 days on/10 days off

Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard Aramark recipes.
  • Follows proper food handling procedures.

  • Follows safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
  • Completes all required training.
