Job description

Position Summary

Apprentice Industrial Electricians needed ASAP. You possess the full range of knowledge required to install connect test and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes including climate control security lighting power sources and communications.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay Rate: $24-40 / hr depending on experience
• Location: Cenovus Foster Creek - Camp Accommodations
• Rotation: 8 / 6 rotation - 12 - hour days

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a registered 3rd or 4th year Apprentice with the appropriate provincial authority
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing

Core Accountabilities

• Install alter repair and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications
• Plan layouts and illustrations of electrical wiring equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services
• Inspect electrical systems equipment and components to identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with codes
