Job summary

HORIZON MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS in Toronto, ON is seeking a diligent Refrigeration Technician (313A) to join their team. The role requires repairing and maintaining mechanical systems and clear communication with customers, with on-call coverage as part of the duties.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience, a valid 313A refrigeration license, a G2+ gas license, and a clean G license, plus strong English skills and a proactive learning mindset. Salary is hourly and experience-based.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in mechanical/HVAC roles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• English language proficiency.
• Valid 313A Refrigeration License.
• Valid G2 or greater gas license.
• Valid G driver's license with a clean abstract.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining mechanical systems.
• Communicate diagnosis, repair or recommendations to customers.
• Complete paperwork electronically to document work.
• Work as a team to support colleagues.
• Come to work with an open mind to learn and grow.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours/weekend coverage.
