Overview

Job Description

Salary : $35 to $45 per hour

Currently, we are seeking motivated, accountable professionals to join our team in the role of 310T Mechanic. There are positions available at two of our locations based primarily in a maintenance shop atmosphere; however, our Mechanics may need to make road calls and perform test drives to adequately service our fleet. Responsibilities
  • Performing preventive maintenance on fleet
  • Carrying out diagnostic tests and repairs to a variety of vehicles and equipment using modern maintenance practices
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of construction equipment
  • Ensuring all Workplace Safety requirements are met
  • Reads diagrams / schematics and manufacturers repair manuals for work procedures
  • Lubricates, services, diagnoses, repairs, assembles, and maintains various large construction equipment according to the maintenance schedule
  • Accurately and efficiently diagnoses and repairs equipment including computer connection / diagnosis with a machine to identify fault codes
  • Maintains accurate records of all services, repairs, and other work as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3rd year apprentice
  • Valid 310T License preferred
  • Experience working on various Heavy Equipment preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors sometimes in difficult conditions caused by snow, dust, temperature changes and weather
  • Ability to use workplace technology
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • CAT equipment experience is an asset
