Job Summary :

Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial trucks and heavy vehicles. The 310T Mechanic plays a key role in ensuring fleet safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for licensed mechanics who take pride in precision work and understand the importance of vehicle reliability and preventative care.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in trucks and trailers
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
  • Repair or replace vehicle systems, including brakes, suspensions, engines, and drivetrains
  • Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex systems
  • Ensure repairs comply with the Ministry of Transportation standards
  • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized
Qualifications :
  • Valid 310T License
  • 2–3 years of experience working on commercial trucks or fleet vehicles
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and air brake systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Physically capable of working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Welding or fabrication experience is an advantage
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of fleet maintenance tracking systems
