Job Overview

Location: Cardinal Kia
Availability: Open – Monday to Friday (no Saturdays)
Compensation: $30 to $38 per hour based on experience and training.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose the source of malfunctions and perform repairs.
  • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
  • Determine if additional safety or service work is required through comprehensive examinations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes and brake inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, diagnostics and services performed using digital systems or paper‑based documentation as required.
  • Ensure all vehicles qualify for warranty before performing warranty repairs.
  • Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers.
  • Provide thorough information to the service and parts teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and hazard‑free workspace.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with the latest automotive technologies and industry advancements through continuous learning.
  • Multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Applicant must possess a 310S License.
  • Kia experience and/or EV experience is an asset.
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be well‑versed in automotive repair.
  • Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Must be able to lift 85 lbs.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Strong communication skills.
