Qualifications

Description

Join Our Team as a Truck and Coach Technician (310T) – Multiple Locations in Ontario. We’re a safety-first team at Ledcor Highways, focused on maintaining safe and reliable infrastructure across Ontario. Your expertise in maintaining and repairing a variety of mobile equipment helps keep roads safe for everyone.

Locations

• Thessalon
• Sault Ste. Marie
• Wawa

Rates & Premiums

• Base hourly rate of $43.75/hour
• Skilled trade premium of $5/hour in Ontario locations: Agawa, Wawa, Hornepayne, Chapleau, Hinkler, White River

Work Conditions

• Monday to Friday work week with 10-hour shifts
• Travel to various field operations may be required
• Benefits provided by CLAC (Health, Dental, RSP and Pension)

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as plow and sanding trucks, loaders, and light support gear
• Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
• Engage in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
• Complete maintenance records and documentation as required

Qualifications

• Must have a 310T Truck and Coach ticket from a recognized provincial authority or be registered in an apprenticeship and close to completing
• Previous experience with heavy civil construction and/or highway paving and maintenance equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset
• 421A Heavy Equipment Technician ticket is an asset
• A valid Driver\'s License and ability to provide a 3-year driver\'s abstract
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, possibly with sketches and diagrams
• Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
