Light & Wonder is seeking a Game 2D Animator for our Montreal office. You will join a collaborative team to create high‑quality motion graphics and animated content for online gaming products, ensuring assets flow smoothly between art and engineering teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on animation experience, proficiency with After Effects and Spine, and a strong understanding of animation principles. A hybrid work model and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands‑on game animation experience with a portfolio.
• Solid knowledge of animation principles and timing.
• Proficiency with AE, Spine, Photoshop; familiarity with game engines a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create animations and motion graphics for game content based on specs and storyboards.
• Collaborate with artists and developers to ensure asset flow between teams.
• Contribute to all animated aspects of projects, including rigging and effects.
• Optimize assets for HTML5/online delivery and maintain IP guidelines.
