Job summary

Amyantek on site in Winnipeg seeks a Power Developer to design, develop, and deploy Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 custom apps and integrations. You will build data‑driven solutions, connect Dynamics with external systems via APIs, and create insightful Power BI reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Experience developing and customizing Dynamics 365 modules.
• Strong SQL Server data modeling and relational databases understanding.
• Experience integrating Dynamics with third‑party apps via APIs and connectors.
• Hands‑on with model‑driven/canvas Power Apps and custom connectors.
• Expertise in Dynamics 365 customization (plugins/workflows/forms/views/rules).

Responsibilities

Role Description

Power Apps/ Dynamics Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Must Have Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).


• Experience:


• At least 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).


• Proven experience in developing and customizing Dynamics 365 modules.


• Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and data modeling.


• Experience in integrating Microsoft Dynamics with third‑party applications via APIs, web services, and connectors.


• Hands‑on experience with model‑driven apps, canvas apps, and custom connectors in Power Apps.


• Technical Skills:


• Expertise in Dynamics 365 customization and configuration (plugins, workflows, forms, views, business rules).


• Proficiency in Power Automate for building workflows and automating business processes.


• Strong experience in Power BI for creating data visualizations, reports, and dashboards.


• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD, and release management.

• Best Practices & Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, following best practices for version control, release management, and deployment.


• Data Management: Oversee data migration, data integration, and data quality assurance processes.


• Project Management: participate in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time.


• Mentorship/Training: Mentor fellow developers on dynamics related issues and provide technical support to the team to ensure effective use of Dynamics 365.
