Personal Support Worker Instructor (see schedule)

Wellington Terrace (474 Charles Allan Wy, Fergus, ON N1M 0A1)

Salary Range

$64.22/hour

Effective Date & Hours

October 13, 2026 – unknown, not to exceed July 30, 2027.

Tuesday OR Thursday: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm (5 hours/week) and

One weekend per month Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

While performing this position, you are a member of the Ontario Secondary School teachers' Federation representing the District 18 Teachers' Bargaining Unit. Union dues will apply.

This role is dependent on sufficient enrolment in the program.

NOTE: This is a temporary position and will end upon the return of the incumbent.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school, the temporary PSW Instructor is responsible for providing continuous, high-quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting student achievement and well-being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.

This position is open to job sharing; candidates interested in a part-time arrangement are encouraged to apply.
