The UGDSB is seeking a dynamic individual to join our elementary teaching team for the following opportunity

Position Details: Long Term Occasional Assignment – Grade 4 - 0.4FTE

Location: Brant Avenue

Rate of Pay: $52,974.00 - $119,975.00 per annum; salary grid rate is based on QECO rating and teaching experience; annual salary is prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1, 2026

Required Qualifications: Junior, *Spec Ed Part 1 considered an asset

Schedule: Day 4 Full Day, Day 2 & 5 Afternoons

Effective Date: Immediately - unknown, not to exceed June 30, 2027

Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school, the Long-Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous, high-quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting student achievement and well-being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies

Professional Reference Requirements: A minimum of two (2) professional supervisory references are required, including at least one from your current Principal or Vice-Principal

Vulnerable Sector Check: An original Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) must be provided prior to the commencement of employment (if the successful candidate is external). The VSC must be dated within 6 months of the start date of employment
