Position Overview

Associated Ambulance is currently seeking a qualified Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) to join our team at the Drayton Valley Station . This permanent full-time position offers a predictable and balanced shift schedule of four days on, followed by four days off . As an ACP with Associated Ambulance, you will be an essential part of our emergency medical response team, providing vital pre-hospital care and life‑saving interventions to the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions to determine the extent of injury or illness and immediate care requirements.
• Administer pre‑hospital emergency medical care, including patient stabilization for ambulance transportation.
• Monitor vital signs, assess blood glucose levels, and perform other diagnostic procedures.
• Work collaboratively with emergency medical personnel, emergency communications officers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Valid Primary Care Paramedic practice permit that meets the EMS practice requirements in Alberta.
• Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s license.
• Completion of all mandatory and required training , including MCP and PDIC .
