  • Lead discussions on regulatory issues and develop thematic observations and recommendations.
  • Support planning, execution, and delivery of regulatory portfolios within ECCO.
  • Partner across first, second, and third lines of defense to ensure program coordination.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to elevate risk awareness across teams.

Job Description The Opportunity Are you interested in driving meaningful change in the organization's risk and control environment of one Of Canada’s leading Financial Institution? By applying to this job posting, you will join the Enterprise Chief Controls Office (ECCO), a centralized first line of defense group dedicated to embedding a culture of risk ownership and operational excellence while positioning itself for sustainable growth.

This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2027 Student placement with a start date of January 2027, and end date of April 2027. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either: Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2027; or If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully. Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying - candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.

What You'll Do
  • Develop regulatory remediation status reports and track project phases

What You Need to Succeed

Must-Have:

  • Currently enrolled at a Canadian post‑secondary institution in a Risk, Finance, Business or related field
  • Leadership acumen and passion for dynamic environments
  • Change agility and adaptability to evolving regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
