Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Winter 2027 Student placement within the Chief Legal & Admin Office Group in Toronto, Ontario. This 4-month fixed-term internship supports the Global IGA Governance team, focusing on the execution of intra-group risk management processes and proactive issue anticipation.
The role offers salaried employment with a 37.5-hour work week, and requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to prepare concise reports and advise stakeholders.
What is the opportunity? RBC is a highly complex global organization with significant supplier spend and vendor complexity. Effective sourcing and management of suppliers are critical contributors to RBC's operational efficiency. Managing these complex relationships can be risky and require effective execution of supplier risk management activities. The purpose of this position is support the Senior Manager on the execution of the Intra‑Group Arrangements (IGA) Risk Management processes and methodologies according to the Third Party Policy and standards as they pertain to Intra‑Group Arrangements. The Winter Internship role is responsible for proactive support, including anticipating issues and initiating appropriate actions to ensure the most effective use of time during the internship
Work with various applications, data analysis tools and resources providing support to teams and key stakeholders Prioritize incoming requests and project assignments to support execution of the required risk management activities under the Global IGA Governance team Establish relationships with teams in other platforms to share and discuss best practices outside RBC Functions Build and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders, Supplier Management Offices, and other support groups including Center of Governance

This posting is for a 4‑months Winter 2027 Student placement with a start date of January 2027, and end date of April 2027. In order to be eligible for this 4‑months Student position, you must either: Be returning back to school after the work term end‑date of April 2027 ; or If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), you must require the full 4‑months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
The successful candidate for this role will be required to be located within Ontario for the duration of the work term. RBC is committed to supporting flexible work arrangements when and where available. Details regarding the specific virtual, hybrid, and in‑office arrangements for this Integrated Learning/ Co‑op position are to be discussed with the Hiring Manager.
