Qualification
  • Completed a graduate degree (MFIN, MBA, or other advanced degree) with foundational knowledge of financial markets, trading, portfolio management, and behavioral finance from undergraduate or graduate studies.
  • Has hands‑on experience implementing trading or investment strategies with an understanding of associated risk metrics and profiles, and expertise in strategy risks within capital markets.
  • Ability to communicate strategies and risks to clients and stakeholders.
Class Schedule

Courses may be online or in‑person, depending on circumstances, so candidates must be available and comfortable with both.

This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.

Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.

Please note: Undergraduate or graduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the University of Toronto are covered by the CUPE 3902 Unit 1 collective agreement rather than the Unit 3 collective agreement, and should not apply for positions posted under the Unit 3 collective agreement.
