Harvard-Westlake School is seeking an exceptional educator for a full-time position in our Upper School History/Social Studies Department (grades 10–12), teaching four sections that include a mix of Modern World History and U.S. History.

We welcome applicants who bring strong content knowledge, relevant academic preparation, and/or demonstrated classroom experience in both U.S. history and modern world history.

About the Department

The History/Social Studies Department places a high value on collegiality, collaboration, and team teaching. This model includes:

Compensation

Anticipated base compensation: $85,000- $115,000, depending on experience.
Start date: August 2026 for the 2026–27 school year.
