APPROXIMATE START DATE: January 17, 2025
MAJORITY OF SHIFTS INITIALLY WORKED ON: 3W Dinner
SHIFT HOURS: 3PM - 7PM (Permanent Rotation 10 Shifts per Schedule)
POSTING DATE: December 16, 2025
POSTING END DATE: December 22, 2025
HOURLY WAGE RATE AS OF APRIL 1, 2025:

  • Start: $26.62
  • 6 months: $27.17
  • 18 months:$27.97
  • 30 months: $28.73

Note: Temporary Positions are for up to 12 or 18 months (as per the collective agreement)

Qualifications:

  1. Grade 12 Education;
  2. Must be fluent in oral and written English;
  3. Experience in food service and an understanding of therapeutic diets would be beneficial;
  4. New hires must have completed or be enrolled in a Food Service Worker training program at an established college as listed in the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act, 2002 or a registered private career college in Ontario.
  5. If the successful applicant ceases to be enrolled in the program or fails to successfully complete the program within three years of being hired, his/her employment will cease.
