Position Overview

Under the direction of the Anti-Human Trafficking Services Manager, the Clinical Coordinator’s primary function is to provide assessment and Intake services for those entering the program. Additionally, the Clinical Coordinator acts as clinical lead senior practitioner for the Live-In Team. This position will ensure the provision of current clinical best practices and holistic treatment services for families through a variety of interventions and a 24-hour care setting that is consistent with the vision, mission and core values established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • An HBSW or Degree in a related field is required coupled with four (4) years counselling experience in the field of Community Health and Addictions.
  • Experience in the field of Substance Use Health and Mental Health & knowledge pertaining to Anti-Human Trafficking related services.
  • Working with survivors of trauma, victims of crime, or vulnerable populations, or in a crisis management and intervention environment.
  • Knowledge about human trafficking, gender-based violence, experience working with victims and survivors of human trafficking, and trauma.
  • Experience in the provision of individual and group-based counselling, assessments, referrals and advocacy.
  • Candidates without the specific education qualifications and where the position does not require certified qualification to practice, but who possess an appropriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered.
  • Experience in clinical lead role is required.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Records Search, including Vulnerable Sector Search.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Anti-Human Trafficking Services Manager in relation to service requirements.
  • Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License and must have access to a personal vehicle.
  • Must complete a medical and receive the required immunizations as recommended by the local medical officer of health.
Hours and Compensation

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $36.84 To $45.31 Hourly
